Jim Price has been in the healthcare industry for twenty years. His experience encompasses numerous pharmaceutical and surgical sales positions As a practice management consultant, Jim has worked with doctors to improve a variety of practice issues from workflow to marketing. He has also advised hospitals on vendor consolidation and procedure efficiencies.

Jim also served as Director of North American Training and Development for Novartis Ophthalmics. In this position, he was responsible for the training and development of Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers for the North American markets.

During his industry tenure Jim was the recipient of a number of prestigious awards.

• Region of the Year Member – Johnson and Johnson
• National President’s Award for Sales- Ciba Vision

Currently, Jim provides contract training and consultation services for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industry, including: Novartis Ophthalmics, Pfizer, Alimera Sciences, Alliant Pharmaceuticals, Nova Vision, Gilead, Hollister Medical, UCB and TLC Laser Centers.

As a presenter at The Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers, Jim has been able to share his extensive experience with other sales training professionals. Jim is also a member of the 2009 Pharmaceutical Representative Magazine Editorial Advisory Group. As a member of this group Jim offers advice on the relevance of content and research for pharmaceutical and medical companies.
Jim is also a paid consultant for TLC Laser Eye Centers.
