Bootcamp
Leadership Boot Camp is designed to allow
participants the opportunity to experience aspects of good
and
bad leadership while in an outdoor natural
setting.

This setting helps participants retain the
learning because it was experienced and not just taught to
them.
At the end of camp participant’s will have practiced and
mastered the skills needed for effective leadership.
The skills taught and practiced are customized to each
company's needs.
Leadership Bootcamp includes the following elements:

Basic Knowledge Assessment.
A base line knowledge assessment on the sales and
coaching model is given on the first morning to
assess participant’s knowledge level. |

Coaching Fitness Trail. The
Coaching Fitness Trail is a w alk along a half mile
trail that has six to eight evaluators along the
trail role -playing different coaching scenarios.
The coaches will be evaluated on each scenario
against their existing coaching model and given a
numerical score. This exercise will evaluate the
participant’s skill level. |

Leaderless Exercise. The
leaderless exercise is an activity whereby we give
a team an objective to accomplish such as build a
lean to or create an animal out of these legos with
out assigning a leader. The evaluators watch to see
if a leader emerges from the group. This
activity assesses participant’s willingness and
ability to lead. |

Bad Leader Hike. This
activity allows the participants to experience “Bad
Leadership.” During this activity the leader of the
hike will mislead the participants, not listen to
them, be autocratic and bossy and many other
irritating poor leadership behaviors. Finally,
after the team has had enough of poor leadership, a
good leader emerges and completes the hike as well
as models good leadership. An activity debrief will
follow to reinforce learning. Participants will be
graded on their ability to
lead and be led. |

Creative Problem Solving.
The Creative Problem Solving activity teaches a
four step problem solving model and presents
several problems to the group to assess their
ability to follow basic steps to problem solving.
Each team will be graded on their ability to fol
low the problem solving steps and reach a solution
as a group. |
